What is the difference between fully assembled and RTA (Ready to Assemble) kitchen cabinets?

The terms “fully assembled” and “RTA” refer to the method in which the cabinets will arrive at your house.  

RTA Kitchen cabinets come delivered with everything you need to assemble the cabinets yourself.  Whether you’re an experienced “do it yourselfer” or a novice remodeling their kitchen on a budget, you will find our RTA cabinets are easy to assemble and install.  Everything you need, including all parts and step –by-step instructions, are included in the box so you can get started immediately.  

Pre assembled kitchen cabinets arrive with one less step required.  All that will be left for you to do is install them into your kitchen.

Why do you advertise “All Wood” cabinets?  Aren’t all Cabinets made of wood?

While most cabinets are made of wood, some may be made from sub-standard wood such as particle board.  In this case, the boards are made from pieces of wood, or wood chips, that are then pressed together with resin or glue.  This reduces the quality of the cabinets as well as their strength and durability.

We do not carry particle board cabinets.  All of our cabinet doors are made with either solid wood or medium-density fiberboard (MDF) and the cabinet boxes are made of high-quality plywood.  We pride ourselves in our dedication to quality products at affordable prices.  

 

Are accessories like drawer pulls or hardware included in the pricing?

While all hardware required to install the cabinets, like hinges and glides, are included with the cabinet purchase, the decorative drawer or door pulls are not.  However, you may purchase these accessories from our site to allow for more customization of taste, style, and color to best match the look and feel of your kitchen.

 

If I want to make changes to an available style or order custom cabinets, can I do that through your site?

One of our first priorities is to deliver the highest quality of wood kitchen cabinets at the best possible prices.  In order to do so, we do not offer custom cabinet orders.

Are the cabinets hard to assemble and install?

No.  Our cabinets are not only easy to install, but they come with all of the parts you require in one box.  You will also receive easy to understand step by step instructions so there is no need to worry about what to do next.

 

How long will it take to get my cabinets?

Once we receive and process your order, RTA orders are typically shipped within 10 business days and fully assembled sets are shipped within 15 business days. 

Shipping time is based on your location, and we will provide you with a tracking number so that you will receive a precise estimation from the shipping company.

 

How much does shipping cost?

Our website is conveniently designed to calculate the shipping costs for your specific order.  

All you will have to do is select the items you would like and add them to your cart.  When you get to the check-out section you will be able to select your shipping method and timeframe and we will automatically calculate the shipping costs for your cart.

 

What if I change my mind and decide I want to cancel or change my order?

You may make adjustments to your order, quantity, color, or cancel your order by contacting us by phone or email within 1 business day of submitting your order and we will be happy to make the adjustments for you.

Because we begin processing all orders within the first business day from receiving them, requests must be made within this window.  If you decide after the first business day to change your order, you will need to go through the return process.

 

How do I return my cabinets?

We do accept returns on any unopened cabinet box.  If you find you need to return your cabinets, we must be notified within 24 hours of your cabinets being received and the cabinets must be shipped back to us within 5 business days.

Shipping fees are not refundable and return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.  Upon receipt of your return, a 25% restocking fee will be applied to all eligible refunds.

 

What will the delivery of my cabinets require?

Unlike direct delivery, when shipping, the cabinets will not be brought into your house or kitchen for you by the delivery driver.  So, you will need to have a means to transport the cabinets into your kitchen.

Standard shipping includes curbside shipping.  This means the delivery driver will only be accountable for moving the pallet to the end of the truck.  From there it will be your responsibility, as the customer, to remove your cabinets from the pallet.  You will want to have a way to transporting the cabinets off the truck and into your kitchen safely as the driver will not be available to help.  While some shipping companies may have a lift gate available to lower your pallet onto the ground, this may come with a fee.  Be sure to check with the driver of any fees you may incur for using the lift gate or any other services offered.

 

What do I need to do once my delivery is received?

Once you have received your delivery, but before you have unloaded your cabinets, you will need to check the delivery against the shipping invoice to ensure all pieces of your delivery have been included.  If you find something that is on the shipping list but is not included on your pallet, let the driver know immediately.

After you have unloaded your cabinets from the truck and transported them into your kitchen, inspect each piece for damages and to verify everything is as you ordered it.

 

What do I do if something in my order is damaged or I receive the wrong item?

If, upon inspection of your order, you find that you have received something that is damaged or the wrong piece, let us know within 5 business days by taking a picture of the item and emailing it to us with your order information and we will replace it.  If the item needs to be returned, we will include the return packaging for the damaged item.

 

Do I need to pay sales tax?

You only need to pay sales tax if you live in the state of New Jersey.
